Plumbing planning in Hamilton, NJ

A wide range of Capes, ranches, split-levels, and older village homes makes fixture and pipe age a block-by-block question.

Hamilton, an industrial township renamed from Nottingham

Hamilton Township began as Nottingham Township in 1686, renamed Hamilton in 1842, and grew through the 19th century into an industrial hub of flour mills and iron foundries around the 1708 Isaac Watson House, the oldest home in Mercer County. A plumbing project in one of Hamilton's 19th-century industrial-era homes should expect systems added in stages since the 1842 renaming from Nottingham.
